The cash concentration system uses a touch-tone telephone and a toll-free number to transfer funds from a credit union's depository bank to its Southwest Corporate account for next day credit. This system "concentrates" more of the credit union's funds into one interest-bearing account.

Many credit unions that deposit to a local bank use cash concentration to move money into their account at Southwest Corporate. It's really simple to use. And because of its lower cost, cash concentration is used to move sums of money that are too large to mail in the form of a check, yet too small to justify sending by wire.
