BOOST YE OLE SECURITY AWARENESS
Tom DeSot, Digital Defense, Inc.'s chief compliance officer, led Southwest Corporate webinars on March 24 and June 9 to help credit unions identify and mitigate information security vulnerabilities in their electronic funds transfer (EFT) processes.
The March session was recorded and is available below. As a result of the strong response to the March and June webinars, registration for an additional training session on September 15 is now open. The event will occur at 1:30 pm central time.
The "Securing Your Credit Union's Workstations" webinar covers: managing administrative rights; malware, spyware and viruses; firewalls; and operating system and software patch management.
Southwest Corporate urges every member credit union to maximize the security of its EFTs and confidential data by having a representative attend this critical training. And it is asking credit unions to acknowledge when they have done so.
